11th Annual Bluegrass Show
Join the Earlysville Ruritan Club for their 11th Annual Valentine's Bluegrass Show on Saturday, Feb. 11th at  the Albemarle High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30p, show starts at 7:30p. Valentine's Dance
The Orange American Legion Post 156 will hold a Valentine's dance on Saturday, Feb. 11th from 8-11p at the Legion Hall. Snacks will be provided!! Tickets are $25 per couple. Dress is Valentine casual with an emphasis on the color red.

Sweetheart Dinner Fundraiser
Salem Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser. It's a "Sweetheart Spaghetti" Dinner on Sunday, February 12th at the Salem VFD hall from 5-7pm. Menu includes a plate of spaghetti, drink and desert. Cost is $7.00 for adults & $5.00 for Children under 5. Call 540-825-9112 for more info!!

New Support Group in Culpeper


There's a new support group for parents of children with special needs in Culpeper. Meetings will be held 3-4 times a year with guest speakers and more. The fist meeting is to be held Feb. 27th from 6:30a-8p at the Culpeper County Library. All are welcome, including children. If you need more info, please call 540-219-3298.

Citizen's Police Academy


The Citizens' Police Academy sponsored by the Orange County Sheriff's Office will be held each Tuesday night from March 13th through May 15th. The majority of the program will be held at Locust Grove Middle School on Flat Run Rd. from 6:30-9:30p, but the first night will be held at the sheriff's office.

Open to all Orange County residents over the age of 18. Participants must attend 8 of the 10 classes to graduate.

Community Forum
The Marshall Community Center Advisory Committee invites you to attend a community forum to be held on March 19th at 7:00 PM in the Marshall Community Center Auditorium. This forum is open to the public!! Guests are welcome to ask questions and voice any suggestions or concerns they may have. Refreshments will be served!!

Fauquier Youth Flag Football

Foothills Express Update

"Connections" Program


Sponsored by Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services and the Alzheimer's Association, "CONNECTIONS" is a free, 8-week, in-home program for family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's disease, or other age-related dementia. It is designed to help the family answer the question, "What can we do at home all day?" The program teaches care-giving families how to facilitate interesting, meaningful activities for their family member with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Available to families in Madison, Orange, Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties. A person may participate no matter what the level of dementia - no formal diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia is required.
