Alan Jackson performed for more than 5000 fans at Louisa County High School in The Miracle for Mineral Benefit. Money raised from the show will help support the Louisa Education Foundation. WJMA's Frank Wells & Kathy Campbell were on hand for the show. Thanks to our many listeners who waited in long lines to get into the venue. We want to thank everyone who made it to Powell Wellness Center on Saturday, Feb. 25th for the American Heart Association fundraiser "Tri-All-Thlon". J.D. Slade was broadcasting live and it was a fun, maybe tired in the end kinda day. Swimming, walking, the treadmill, the cycle bike, there was alot to do in a short period of time, but Culpeper and everyone who came from outside Culpeper did awonderful job. WJMA can't wait to be a part of next year's fundraiser for the American Heart Association.

J.D. Slade defended his Pie Eating Contest Championship with ease at the 2010 Madison County Fair. Congrats to Pam who showed up, but couldn't keep up with J.D. He's now 2-1 and looking forward to defending his Championship next year....any takers?

The WJMA Roadshow headed out to help raise awareness and money for MS research at the MS Walk in Yowell Meadow Park on Saturday, April 18th.  Lee Richards and Elizabeth O'Connor met up with WJMA alumni Jennifer Driggers and Johnny Krawchuk as everybody pitched in to help fight MS.
